When should I make an appointment?

You can start shopping as soon as you've said yes!! It is a big decision so the sooner you get looking the sooner you can relax knowing you have found the one. Some people like to book the venue first as often this can play a part in the style you chose.  We find the dress is usually the second big decision of the wedding plans after the venue. (Although us girls definitely think the dress is the most important!!)

Who should I bring to the appointment with me?

Our boutique is designed so that you enjoy the entire bridal lounge to yourself and therefore it is large enough to not have to limit your special guests for this unique shopping trip.  However, we do advise around three guests for your first appointment as sometimes too many opinions can confuse you.  

 

We want you to enjoy every second of the experience so we ask where possible if you are bringing a small child, could you please have someone there on hand to help as we want you to feel as relaxed as possible during your visit.

There is plenty of free parking behind the main shopping centre car park.  If you park near the Co-op supermarket and we are next door but one.

How long will the appointment take?

  • Bride to be - 2 hours

  • Bridal Accessories - 1 hour

  • Mother Of The Bride/Groom - 1.5 hours

  • Occasion wear - 1 hour

  • Hat hire - 45 minutes

What should I wear to the appointment?

We advise that you wear nude underwear.  Most dresses have amazing structure to allow for no bra. Although of course this is only if you feel comfortable enough to do so.

 

We kindly ask that you leave your fake tan for another occasion.

What sizes are your gowns?

  • Bridal - Dress sizes 6-24 - please note that the majority of our sample gowns are sizes 8 - 16

  • Mother of the bride - dress sizes 6-26

How do I pay?

  • Bridal - We really hope you say yes to YOUR dream dress EXCITING!! We require a booking fee of 50% of the total dress cost to place the order that day. We would then require the remaining 50% balance no later than seven days after your dress arrives in store.  We accept cash, bank transfer, credit or debit cards for payment.

  • Hat Hire - please note that we require full payment at the time of booking to ensure that your hat is secured for your date.  This payment is for a five day period and charges may be incurred if required for a longer period of time. 

Who will do my alterations?

We will discuss this in store with you and offer some incredible recommendations of seamstresses who have been in the business for many years to make the final alterations to your dress.  Should you know someone yourself you are also welcome to use them, we just simply offer our advice for some of the best ladies in the industry.
